Day two of the installation draws to a close, and we are gifted a glorious sunset over the polycrub.

It glows like it was made of pink plastic, brushed by the very final rays of the sun sinking over the hillside at the back of the croft.
I know that I am going to love growing in here. I’ve started the planting plans already… of course!

Just glorious.

Amazing photo but what’s that funny looking plastic thing blocking the sunset 😍

How beautiful! The plan looks great too. The sitting/potting area is essential, I always forget to leave an area for just enjoying the space and then regret it,

It looks awesome. Does the polycrub prevent seedlings from getting hit by frost?

Tender seedlings still need extra protection. I put sheets of bubble wrap on them last night as it was forecast to be cold. The internal temperature of the polycrub went down to 3.5C…. As it’s not heated yet. We’ll experiment this season and maybe put in a wind generator that powers a small heater next year 👍

Would love to hear about the wind generator – that’s something we’d like too, so it’ll be interesting to see what your research uncovers.
